Podiatrist scores in Ladue

Dr. Sophie I. Liu bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 9055 Clayton Road in Ladue from Commercial Bank for $430,000 on Feb. 5.

Commercial Bank foreclosed on the property in June 2004. The 2,442-square-foot home was built in 1925.

Dr. Liu is a podiatrist at Family Foot Care, which has offices in St. Charles and Lake St. Louis.

She has a bachelor’s in biology from the University of California-San Diego and a D.P.M. from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. She completed a two-year surgical residency at Northridge Hospital in Van Nuys, Calif.

There were 165 sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median sales price of $691,000.
