Dr. Bernard R. Chaitman and his wife, Gloria B. Chaitman, bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 10411 Lylewood Dr. in Frontenac from Emily E. Kahn and Brian E. Kahn for $290,000 on March 9.

The Kahns paid $305,000 for the property in Jan. 2004. The 1,834-square-foot house was built in 1985.

Dr. Chaitman is a cardiologist, a professor of internal medicine in the Division of Cardiology, and director of cardiology research at St. Louis University Care.

He earned his M.D. from the McGill University Department of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine training at McGill University Teaching Hospital and cardiovascular training at University of Oregon Health Sciences Center and the Montreal Heart Institute.

Ms. Khan is a partner with Katharyn B. Davis, LLC, a firm that concentrates on banking and finance, bankruptcy and real estate law.

She earned her bachelor's degree from Allegheny College and her J.D. from Washington University.

There were 61 home sales in Frontenac in 2008, with a median price of $625,000.
