Massage therapist unloads Kirkwood 4BD

Lisa Telthorst sold a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 1319 Forest Ave. in Kirkwood to Robert E. Abbott for $655,000 on March 6.

Lisa Telthorst, along with Dean Telthorst, acquired the property for $215,000 in July 1999. The 3,138-square-foot house was built in 2000.

Ms. Telthorst is a licensed massage therapist and the owner of Life in Balance Massage Therapy in Kirkwood. She is also a registered dental hygienist.

She earned her bachelor’s in dental hygiene from the University of Missouri School of Dentistry. She also attended the Healing Arts Center in St. Louis.

There were 520 home sales in Kirkwood in 2008, with a median price of $195,750.
