Marvin and Renee Dufner bought a three-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 8 Rauscher Dr. in Ladue from Trace and Lynn Shaughnessy for $615,000 on March 15.

The Shaughnessys acquired the property for $660,000 in Jan. 2008. The 2,912-square-foot house was built in 1954.

Mr. Dufner serves as the president of the HTR-Group, a resource recovery facility that recycles lamps, ballasts, batteries and computers.

There were 164 sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median price of $637,500.
