Nephrologist gets Kirkwod 4BD for $1.4M

Gopal Krishnan bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1 Crag Knob Road in Kirkwood from Robert Lesmeister for $1.4 million on March 18.

The 5,600-square-foot house was built in 1943.

Dr. Krishnan is a nephrologist at St Louis Nephrology-Hypertens. He is also affiliated with Des Peres Hospital and St. Alexius Hospital.

He earned his M.D. from Stanley Medical College and completed his residency and fellowship at St. Louis University Hospital.

There were 506 home sales in Kirkwood in 2008, with a median sales price of $190,000.
