Claney bought the property for $615,000 in Sept. 2004. The 3,416-square-foot house, which was built in 1974, is in the Westwood Place neighborhood.
Claney is the vice president of mortgage banking at Stifel Bank. Prior to that, he served as vice president at Paramount Mortgage.
He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in economics and received an M.B.A. in finance from St. Louis University.
Buxner is a lawyer at the Buxner Law Firm in St. Louis. He practices in the areas of personal injury, nursing home abuse and neglect, toxic torts, commercial litigation and mass torts.
He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts and his J.D. from St. Louis University.
There were 204 home sales in Creve Coeur in 2008, with a median sales price of $340,000.
