Director of research acquires 4BD in Manchester

Stoyan P. Petev bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1393 Wakeshire Terrace in Unincorporated Manchester from Juanita and Antonia Peteva for $275,000 on March 24.

The 2,502-square-foot house, which was built in 1978, is in the Sunnybrook Farm neighborhood.

Mr. Petev serves as a director of research at First Heartland Capital, Inc., an independent investment advisory firm formed in 1984.

He earned his M.B.A. in finance from the Washington University Olin School of Business and his B.A. and B.S. in business administration, finance, economics from Truman State University.

There were 45 home sales in Unincorporated Manchester in 2008, with a median sales price of $207,500.
