Dr. John J. Hetts and his wife, Elena Lajano, sold a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 751 Hurstgreen Road in Webster Groves to Thad and Amy Musgraves for $380,000 on March 24.

Hetts and Lejano paid $485,000 for the property in Aug. 2006. The 2,547-square-foot house, which was built in 1929, is in the Lovejoy neighborhood. It was listed as high as $449,900.

Dr. Hetts is an assistant professor in the Washington University Department of Psychology in Arts & Sciences.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and a master's degree and doctorate in social psychology from the University of California-Los Angeles.

There were 376 home sales in Webster Groves in 2008, with a median sales price of $205,000.
