Marc Sarni bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 622 Forest Court in Clayton from Cornerstone Investment II, LLC, for $625,000 on April 3.
The 1,817-square-foot Unit #2B is part of the Forest Court condominium development, which was constructed in 2007.
Sarni is a partner and co-owner of Howard Commercial Corp., a commercial real estate brokerage, investment and development services firm. He also is a principal at Cornerstone Investment, LLC, and managing director at NEW Holdings, LLC, a company he founded in 2006.
Prior to working in a real estate industry, he was the managing director of investment banking for A.G. Edwards and Sons and worked with PriceWaterhouse‘s accounting and auditing services group.
A CPA, he earned his B.S.B.A. in accounting from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 1981 and obtained his M.B.A. in finance from the University of Chicago.
Sales at Forest Court were down 66.7 percent from 2007-08, while the median sales price fell 15.8 percent during that time.
There were 75 condo sales in Clayton in 2008, with a median sales price of $240,000.
