Rudolph Freedman and his wife, Henrietta, have listed for sale a three-bedroom, three-bath home at 17 Brazillian Court in Ladue for $589,000.
The 2,342-square-foot house, which was built in 1955, is in the Brazillian Court neighborhood.
Mr. Freedman is a retired chairman at SEMCOR an industrial products distributor based in St. Louis.
He received his B.S. and M.S. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Mrs. Freedman was the first woman president of the Jewish Community Relations Council and also served as vice president of the Jewish Federation of St. Louis.
In addition to that, she helped start the Lifelong Learning Institute, a cooperative learning program with Washington University that draws about 500 students aged 55 and older each semester. She is also a founder of the Arts & Sciences Scholarship Program at the school.
She earned her A.B. from Washington University.
There were 164 home sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median sales price of $635,000.
