Dr. Robb E. Whinney sold a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 16 Loren Woods Dr. in Ladue to Robert G. Keller and his wife, Loris, for $520,000 on April 20.

Whinney paid $590,000 for the property in June 2004. The 2,394-square-foot house, which was built in 1941, is in the neighborhood of Loren Woods.

Dr. Whinney is an anesthesiologist, critical care surgeon and trauma surgeon at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is affiliated with Barnes Jewish Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital.

He received his M.D. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994, completed his residency in surgery at Wyckoff Heights Hospital in 1999 and his graduate education in surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital. He finished his fellowship at the University of Miami School of Medicine.

There were 164 sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median sales price of $635,000.
