Dr. Shunfu Hu and his wife, Ning, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 8016 Davis Dr. in Clayton from Shu Zhu and Jun Sun for $465,000 on April 15.

Zhu and Sun paid $486,575 for the property in May 2008. The 2,210-square-foot house, which was built in 1959, is in the neighborhood of Davis Place.

Dr. Hu has been an professor of geography at the University of Georgia and the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

He received his B.A. and M.A. from Nanjing University and Ph.D. from the University of Georgia.

There were 181 sales in Clayton in 2008, with a median sales price of $475,000.
