Lawyer duo settles in University City 3BD

Kelly and Andrew Murrie bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 989 Barnard College Lane in University City from Timothy and Alison Pagliara for $321,500 on April 16.

The Pagliaras paid $316,000 for the property in April 2004. The 2,075-square-foot house, which was built in 1993, is in the Village of University Place neighborhood.

Mrs. Murrie is an associate at Bryan Cave, LLP. She has served as a judicial extern for the Hon. William D. Stiehl of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

She received her B.A. from the University of Texas-Austin in 2002 and earned her J.D. from St. Louis University in 2006.

Mr. Murrie is of counsel at Spooner Law, LLC. Previously, he has served as associate attorney at Evans Partnership and, before that, he was a law clerk at Rabbitt, Pitzer and Snodgrass P.C.

He received a B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003 and obtained his J.D. from St. Louis University School of Law in 2006.

There were 716 sales in University City in 2008, with a median sales price of $150,000.
