Dr. Ari L Holtz and his wife, Lori, bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 400 Florence Ave. in Webster Groves from Michelle A. Swanson for $350,000 on April 16.

The 2,059-square-foot house was built in 1925.

Dr. Holtz is a psychologist at Clarkson Counseling in Ellisville who specializes in outpatient psychotherapy, AD/HD, LD and personality assessment. After completing his degree, he has worked both in private practice and in community mental health.

He received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the Catholic University of America in Washington and completed his doctoral internship at the Vanderbilt University VA Tennessee Valley Healthcare System in Nashville, Tenn. He was also a post-doctoral resident at the Vanderbilt University Psychological and Counseling Center.

There were 370 sales in Webster Groves in 2008, with a median sales price of $205,000.
