The two-story, 1,784-square-foot house was constructed in 1912.

Mr. Reliford is a research director at John Hancock & Associates, a St. Louis-based political consulting, research, lobbying and public affairs firm. Additionally, he serves as director of research at Public Pulse, a Chesterfield-based information organization. Prior to that, he was a senior research analyst for the Republican National Committee in Washington, D.C. and the executive director of the Center for Ethics and the Free Market.

Mrs. Reliford is the regional government relations director for Eastern Missouri with the American Cancer Society.

There were 496 home sales in Kirkwood in 2008, with a median sales price of $190,000.
