Educator buys 2BD in University City

Jeffrey R. Suzik bought a two-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 7584 Teasdale Ave. in University City from National Residential Nominee Services, Inc., for $258,000 on April 21.

The 1,275-square-foot house, which was built in 1923, is in the neighborhood of West Delmar.

Suzik has served as assistant head of school at Mary Institute and St. Louis County Day School. He previously worked for Shady Side Academy as director of residential life.

He earned his B.A. in English and history from Gustavus Adolphus College and his M.A. and Ph.D. in history from Carnegie Mellon University.

There were 718 home sales in University City in 2008, with a median sales price of $150,000.
