Dr. James Mcllwaine and Nicole Mcllwaine sold a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1089 W. Frisco Ave. in Oakland to Amanda Culbertson Kraemer and her husband, Trent, for $410,000 on April 22.

The McIlwaines bought the property for $465,000 in July 2005. The 3,117-square-foot house was built in 2005.

Dr. Mcllwaine is a surgeon with Patients First Healthcare in Washington.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri and completed his internship and residency at the St. Louis University School of Medicine. He finished his B.S. in biochemistry at the University of Missouri.

Mrs. Kraemer has worked as assistant brand manager at Nestle Purina PetCare in St. Louis and as research analyst at Anheuser-Busch.

She is a 2003 alumna of Central Methodist University in Fayette and serves on its alumni association’s board of directors. She also attended the Washington University Olin Business School.

There were 12 home sales in Oakland in 2008, with a median sales price of $228,500.
