Craig and Stephanie Saur have listed for sale a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 7526 Washington Ave. in University City for $849,000.

The Saurs bought the property for $230,000 in July 2005. The 2,960-square-foot house, which was built in 2006, is in the neighborhood of West Delmar. Tina Weir of Coldwell Banker Gundaker is the listing agent.

Mr. Saur is president and chief executive officer of Conrad Properties, a real estate development company in Clayton. He was named to the position in 2007 and has been a Conrad principal since 2003. He started with the company in 1996 as a project manager and financial analyst.

He earned his bachelor’s in civil and environmental engineering and mathematics from Vanderbilt University. He completed his M.S. in industrial engineering at Stanford University and his M.B.A. at the University of Michigan.

Mrs. Saur has served as legal counsel at US Title Guaranty Co. Before that she was a staff attorney at Michigan Court of Appeals and an associate at Polsinelli, Shalton & Welte.

She graduated from Emory University and finished her law degree at the St. Louis University School of Law.

There were 718 home sales in University City in 2008, with a median sales price of $150,000.
