Raschelle S. Burton bought a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 7733 Kingsbury Blvd. in Clayton from John and Katherine Matthews for $590,000 on May 1.

Mr. Matthews bought the property for $480,000 in April 2003. The 2,104-square-foot house was built in 1908.

Burton has served as assistant vice president for public communications at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. She served in similar managerial positions at Washington Mutual, TD Ameritrade and Fannie Mae.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska and her master’s from Miami University.

There were 172 home sales in Clayton in 2008, with a median sales price of $475,000.
