Monsanto specialist buys Oakville 4BD

Christopher M. Parman and Sarah K. Kretchmar bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 5809 Birchmont Place in Oakville from Fannie Mae and Federal National Mortgage Association for $231,000 on May 4.

Federal National Mortgage Association foreclosed on the property in March 2009. The 2,994-square-foot house, which was built in 2000, is in the neighborhood of Birchmont.

Parman has worked as video editor and live video specialist at the Monsanto Co. He was a senior specialist for editing and motion graphics at Fleishman-Hillard and also worked as assistant director of operations at Lindenwood University.

He holds a B.A. in corporate communications from Lindenwood University (2003).

There were 310 home sales in Oakville in 2008, with a median sales price of $209,000.
