Dr. Brock D. Ridenour and his wife, Melissa, bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 9967 Holliston Court in Ladue from Gerard and Marcia Carino for $1.2 million on May 4.

The Carinos bought the property for $1.08 million in May 2005. The 5,013-square-foot house, which was built in 2001, is in the neighborhood of Chesterfield Trails II.

Dr. Ridenour is a plastic surgeon with the Center for Facial Plastic Surgery in St. Louis.

He attended the Tulane University of School Medicine and completed his residencies in otolaryngology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and in general surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital.

There were 156 home sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median sales price of $675,000.
