Lavin bought the property for $1.25 million in April 2007. The 4,286-square-foot house, which was built in 1993, is in the Chesterfield Trails II neighborhood.

Dr. Rames is an orthopedic surgeon with Wood Mills Orthopedic Ltd. in Chesterfield. He is also affiliated with St. Luke’s Hospital Chesterfield.

He graduated from Rush Medical College in 1983.

There were 156 home sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median sales price of $675,000.
