Harry B. Leggat and his wife, Melissa, sold a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath at 206 Elm Ave. in Glendale to Patrick L. Nolan for $310,000 on May 5.
The Leggats paid $230,000 for the property in Feb. 2001. The 1,610-square-foot home was built in 1935.
Mr. Leggat is vice president of research at Asset Consulting Group Inc., an investment advisory firm based in St. Louis. He was previously a principal with RCP Advisors LLC, a private equity fund manager and a senior consultant in the merger and acquisition group at Aon. He also worked as a senior management consultant with Ernst & Young LLP.
He received a B.A. in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Washington University.
Nolan has been a principal with the architectural firm Pansing, Nolan & Matlock in Webster Groves. He also chaired the architectural review board for the City of Webster Groves for seven years.
He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Urban Design.
There were 115 sales in Glendale in 2008, with a median price of $236,000.
