Dr. Stephen F. Larson and his wife, Deborah, bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 18016 Tara Woods Court in Chesterfield from Louis Sigillo and his wife, Hollie, for $801,000 on May 7.

The Sigillos paid $922,000 for the property in July 2008. The 4,815-square-foot house, which was built in 1999, is in the South of 64 neighborhood.

Dr. Larson practices emergency medicine at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton.

He received his M.D. from the Emory University School of Medicine in 1988 and completed his residency and graduate education at Alameda County Medical Center.

There were 565 sales in Chesterfield in 2008, with a median sales price of $318,000.
