Mr. Sobol is a former principal with Edward Jones, a St. Louis-based financial services firm. After three decades of service with the firm, he retired in 2005. He served as the firm's legal department head and general counsel.

He received his business administration degree from the University of Texas School of Business Administration in 1972 and his J.D. from the University of Missouri in 1975.

There were 120 home sales in Town & Country in 2008, with a median sales price of $652,500.
