Kevin A. Demoff and his wife, Jennifer, bought a four-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 5 Faron Hill Road in Creve Coeur from James and Catherine McCarthy for $920,000 on May 22.

The McCarthys bought the property for $812,992 in Dec. 2003. The 4,121-square-foot house, which was built in 2003, is in the neighborhood of Creve Coeur East.

Mr. Demoff is the executive vice president of football operations and chief executive officer of the St. Louis Rams. He was previously a senior assistant to the GM for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and served as general manager for the AFL's Los Angeles Avengers.

He holds a bachelor’s in history and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.

Mrs. Demoff has worked at the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture.

She is also a graduate of Dartmouth’s Tuck School.

There were 195 home sales in Creve Coeur in 2008, with a median sales price of $320,000.
