Hernandez-Murillo is a senior economist in the research division of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
He earned a degree in economics from the Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology and his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Rochester.
There were 361 home sales in Creve Coeur in 2008, with a median sales price of $180,000.
