Dr. Stephen C. Veluz bought a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 1272 Bluffview Ridge Dr. in Chesterfield from Mark and Dana Mercer for $535,000 on May 26.

The 3,410-square-foot house, which was built in 1996, is in the South of 64 neighborhood.

Dr. Veluz is an internist at SSM St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights.

There were 565 home sales in Chesterfield in 2008, with a median sales price of $318,000.
