Dr. Michael J. Milne bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 2 Edgewood Road in Ladue from Dr. Sue D. Moore and her husband, Richard, for $1.2 million on May 26.

The Moore’s acquired the property for $1.35 million in June 2000. The 5,047-square-foot house, which was built in 1936, is in Ladue North.

Dr. Milne is an orthopedic surgeon at the Orthopedic Center of St. Louis and the assistant team physician for the St. Louis Cardinals. Previously, he served as the team physician of Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies and the United States Ski Team. He was also the head team physician of St. Louis Bandits "Junior A" Hockey Team and a consulting physician of SEMO Redhawks Football Team.

He received his B.A. from the Southern Methodist University, his economics and finance degree from the London School of Economics and his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and fellowship at Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Colorado.

Dr. Moore is a certified obstetrician and gynecologist specializing in fetal medicine at Midwest Maternal. She also serves as perinatal center director at the St. Anthony Medical Center and education assistant director with the department of obstetrics and gynecology at St. John's Mercy Medical Center.

She earned her M.D. from the University of Texas. She finished her residency at the University Of Minnesota College Of Medicine and her fellowship at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine.

There were 164 home sales in Ladue in 2008, with a median sales price of $665,000.
