Vatterott is founder of Vatterott College, a career-based training facility founded in St. Louis in 1969. The college network currently has more than 20 campuses throughout the Midwest and South. He sold the college in 2003. He also serves as chairman of the board for ACCESS Academies, a St. Louis-based non-profit organization that helps economically disadvantaged inner-city children attend school.
