Living center CEO buys 4BD in University City

Michael A. Brave and Jacob P. Fuller bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 7457 Stanford Ave. in University City from Jamie F. Gerth and his wife, Traci, for $355,000 on June 24.

The Gerths bought the property for $285,000 in Dec. 2006. The 2,643-square-foot house, which was built in 1936, is in the University City Central neighborhood.

Brave serves as chief executive officer and administrator at Southern Illinois Living Centers Inc., a licensed intermediate care facility that offers its services to persons with developmental disabilities.

Mrs. Gerth serves as the commercial business director of Charter Communications, a company that provides cable television, high-speed internet and telephone services to 29 states.

There were 712 home sales in University City in 2008, with a median sales price of $151,000.
