John E. Jacob sold a three-bedroom, four-bath home at 2409 Wexford Woods Court in Town & Country to Robert Vallino for $850,000 on June 11.
The 4,750-square-foot house, which was built in 1986, is in the Town & Country South neighborhood.
Jacob was the executive vice president of global communications of Anheuser-Busch Cos. Inc. He chaired the company's charitable contributions committee, served on the corporation's business practices committee and was on the board of directors until his retirement in 2008. He was also a director of the boards of Morgan Stanley, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. and LTV Corp.
Prior to joining the company, he was president and chief executive officer of the National Urban League, where he was responsible in overseeing more than 100 cities and government affairs and research operations in Washington, D.C.
He earned his bachelor's and masters degrees from Howard University.
There were 120 home sales in Town & Country in 2008, with a median sales price of $652,500.
