Tifanny and Scott Auer bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1318 Kendon Dr. in Des Peres from Kathy and Richard Verweyst for $343,000 on Sept. 21.

The 2,306-square-foot house in the Bayberry Hills subdivision was built in 1952.

Ms. Auer works as an account executive at Tandus, an international manufacturer of floor covering products. Earlier, she was an interior designer at Forum Studio and Christner Inc.

She received her B.F.A. in interior design from Syracuse University in New York.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 142 home sales in Des Peres in 2008, with a median sales price of $356,500.
