John B. Nazareth and his wife, Tika, bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 6376 Alamo Ave. in Clayton from Peter and Margaret Marcus for $380,000 on Oct. 7.

The 1,646-square-foot house in the Hi Pionte subdivision was built in 1926.

Mr. Nazareth works for Reuters America as a development manager.

He attended Bharati Vidyapeeth University in India and the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business.

Mr. Marcus is a visual artist and printmaker. He has exhibited across the United States and in the Netherlands. Previously, he was a professor at Washington University, the University of Wisconsin-Stout and Queens College.

He attended the Parson's School of Design and Scuola del Libro in Italy. He received his B.S. in industrial design from New York University in 1962 and his M.F.A. in printmaking from Brooklyn College in 1964.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 305 home sales in Clayton during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $516,000.
