Dr. Sona S. Kamat and her husband, Vinay, bought a four-bedroom, six-bath home at 27 Huntleigh Woods Dr. in Huntleigh from Bremen Bank and Trust Co. for $1,342,500 on Oct. 15.

The 6,673-square-foot house sold for $1.8 million in June 2005. It was built in 1943 in the Huntleigh West neighborhood.

Dr. Kamat is an internist and rheumatologist who is affiliated with Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital.

She received her M.D. from PDM Medical School. She completed her internship and residency at St. Francis Medical Center and served her fellowship at the St. Louis University School of Medicine.

Mr. Kamat is a medical director at Goal Oriented Healthcare.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been seven home sales in Huntleigh during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1,221,750.
