Sammy F. Alkhalaf and his wife, Jill, sold a five-bedroom, 5.5-bath home at 986 Tara Oaks Dr. in Chesterfield to Richard K. Scharnhorst and Mary C. Huneke for $850,000 on Oct. 16.

The Alkhalafs paid $945,000 for the property in Aug. 2005. The 5,960-square-foot house in the South of 64 neighborhood was built in 1999.

Mr. Alkhalaf is the vice president of IT operations and architecture at Brown Shoe Co. He was the chief information officer of the CitiFinancial International at Citigroup, a senior vice president of technology and strategic architecture at MasterCard International and an associate partner at Accenture.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 499 home sales in Chesterfield during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $300,500.
