Craig R. Hoeferlin and his wife, Cheryl, bought a five-bedroom, three-bath home at 16621 Wycliffe Place in Wildwood from Robert and Mary Griffin for $640,000 on Oct. 13.

The 4,218-square-foot house in the Wildwood Northeast neighborhood was built in 2004.

Mr. Hoeferlin has served as the vice president of operations at Laclede Gas Company in Missouri. He has also worked as an engineer, superintendent of instrumentation and control, chief engineer and vice president of operations with the company.

He earned a B.S. in chemical engineering in 1984 from the University of Missouri-Columbia.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 431 home sales in Wildwood during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $314,150.
