Welding company CEO sells 6BD in Ladue

Andrew and Cheryl Masterman sold a six-bedroom, seven-bath home at 26 Clermont Lane in Ladue to Steven and Helen Fischer for $2.195 million on Nov. 2.

The 6,799-square-foot house was built in 1933 in the Ladue North neighborhood.

Mr. Masterman is the president and chief executive officer of ESAB in North America, a manufacturer of plasma cutters, welding equipment and welding consumables. Prior to this, he served as president at Metalico, Spartan Light Metal Products, Walbro Engine Management and TI Automotive. He was also a senior financial analyst at Intel.

He attended Colorado College and earned a master's degree from the University of Michigan.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 131 home sales in Ladue during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $520,000.
