James and Barbara Merrell have listed for sale a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 826 Cleveland Ave. in Kirkwood for $414,900.

The Merrells paid $233,000 for the property in May 2004. The 2,470-square-foot house was built in 1972 in the Kirkwood Northeast neighborhood. Joan Curbow of Keller Williams Realty is the listing agent for the home.

Mr. Merrell has been a pastor at Trinity United Church of Christ in St. Louis. Prior to that, he served as the vice president at the Christian Board of Publication. He was also the founding editor of The Disciple, where he served for 15 years.
