Gary Reznik and Stephan V. Dietrich bought a two-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 8007 Teasdale Ave. in University City from Robert and Cynthia Neely for $316,000 on Nov. 23.
The Neelys bought the property for $359,000 in July 2005. The 1,646-square-foot house was built in 1938 in the University City South neighborhood.
Reznik is a product development manager at Novus International, a poultry and hog pharmaceuticals company in St. Louis. He was a marketing and science group leader at PerkinElmer Inc., a projects and program director at the Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute and he taught at the Illinois Institute of Technology School of Business.
He attended the University of Illinois, the University of California-San Francisco School of Medicine and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 633 home sales in University City during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $142,000.
