Art professor sells 3BD in Clayton

Douglas and Lori Dowd sold a three-bedroom, two-bath condo at 7559 Byron Place in Clayton to Caroline and Brian Muegge for $264,000 on Nov. 30.

The 1,493-square-foot Unit #1E is one of 26 units at the Byron Place development, which was built in 1937.

Mr. Dowd has served as a professor at the Washington University School of Art.

He graduated from Kenyon College.

Ms. Muegge is an insurance professional in Missouri.

She attended Davidson College.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 103 condo sales in Clayton during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $344,000.
