Raymond Elking and his wife, Joelle, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 825 Killiney Dr. in Manchester from Susan and James Hanlon for $260,000 on Dec. 2.

The Hanlons acquired the house for $280,000 in Oct. 2003. The 2,219-square-foot house in the Manchester East neighborhood was built in 1983.

Mr. Elking serves as the lead estimator at McCarthy Building Cos.

He received a degree in construction management from Southern Illinois University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 248 sales in Manchester during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $179,000.
