Sociology professor buys Hazelwood 3BD

Dr. Leslie F. Uljee and Albert M. Uljee bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 1571 Laurel Bluffs Dr. in Hazelwood from Philp L. Bertsch for $280,000 on Jan. 20.
Bertsch paid $333,134 for the property in Oct. 2006. The 2,206-square-foot house was built in 2006 in the Hazelwood West neighborhood.
Dr. Uljee has been an adjunct professor of sociology at Washington University and the University of Houston-Clear Lake. She is also a fiber artist. In the past, she has served as an adjunct faculty at Maryville University.
She attended the Washington University School of Fine Arts and earned a Ph.D. in sociology from Washington University.
