Mr. Matheny played for 13 seasons in the MLB with the Milwaukee Brewers, Toronto Blue Jays, St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants. He is a four-time Gold Glove Award winner.

In 1305 career games he batted .239 with 67 home runs and 443 RBI.

He attended the University of Michigan.
