Former Rams coach Scott Linehan sells 5BD home

Medium 69fccebb553330a30ca48ff05cea3ac9 Scott and Kristen Linehan sold a five-bedroom, 6.5-bath home at 28 Brookwood Road in Town & Country to Dennis F. Schoemehl for $1.85 million on Feb. 17.

The Linehans paid $2 million for the property in May 2006. The 5,283-square-foot house was built in 1997 in the Town & Country South neighborhood.

Mr. Linehan is the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions. He has been coaching in the NFL since 2002, including spending two-plus years as the head coach of the St. Louis Rams in which he compiled a 11-25 record.

He has also been part of the Minnesota Vikings and Miami Dolphins organizations. He played quarterback at the University of Idaho and was signed as a rookie free agent by the Dallas Cowboys in 1987. A shoulder injury ended his playing career before he appeared in any games.

Mr. Schoemehl serves as the president and chief executive officer of Logistics Management Solutions. He began his logistics career in 1974 as a sales representative at Roadway Express. After that, he joined the sales team at Consolidated Freightways, where he spent 15 years of his career. In 1996 he formed LMS.

He holds a B.S. from Southeast Missouri State University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 106 home sales in Town & Country during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $600,000.
