The Chadderdons bought the property for $400,000 in March 2002. The 3,400-square-foot house was built in 1978 in the Clarkson Valley North neighborhood. Cathy Federer of Kelsey Cottrell Realty Group is the agent for the listing.

Mr. Chadderdon is the plant manager and general manager at Weidmann Electrical Technology, a provider of electrical insulation for transformer manufacturers and transformer users. Prior to that, he worked as a business development manager at Avery Dennison, a market manager at Lydall and a market development supervisor at National Starch and Chemical.

He attended the State University of New York-Albany and earned a degree in paper engineering from Western Michigan University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 35 home sales in Clarkson Valley during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $535,000.
