WUSTL research associate buys St. Louis 3BD

Rui Tang and his wife, Yanan Duan, bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1071 Dautel Lane in Unincorporated St. Louis for $263,000 from Jason Zhang and Ruiting Helton on Dec. 24.

Zhang paid $225,000 for the property in Oct. 2009. The 1,844-square-foot house was built in 1966. It is located in the Stratford Manor subdivision.

Tang is a postdoctorate research associate at the Washington University School of Medicine.

He completed a bachelor's degree in chemistry at the University of Science and Technology of China and earned a Ph.D. in material chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 328 home sales in Unincorporated St. Louis during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $162,250.
