Kirk Damman and Brenda Kirchhoff bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 5 Nantucket Lane in Olivette from Oscar Denarvaez and Margaret D. Denarvaez for $525,000 on Jan. 27.
The Denarvaezes acquired the property for $650,000 in Jan. 2010. The 2,859-square-foot house was built in 1956 in Olivette South.
Mr. Damman is an intellectual property lawyer at the law firm of Lewis, Rice, and Fingersh. Among his other areas of pratice are legal matters involving natural resources and alternative energy, media and communications, information technology and technology licensing. He also serves as a director of the United States patent practice program, as well as an adjunct professor of patent law at Webster University.
He holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a B.A. in physics and economics from Carleton College. He likewise attended Kings College in Cambridge in the United Kingdom.
Kirchhoff is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
