Chemist, nurse buy Crestwood 4BD

Benjamin J. Glaus and his wife, Mindy, bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 7612 Bull Run Drive in Crestwood from Nancy C. Libera for $258,000 on Jan. 18.

The 2,082-square-foot house was built in 1965 in Crestwood Southeast. It is located in the Grant Haven subdivision.

Mr. Glaus is a chemist in Saint Louis. He received his B.A. in biology from Westminster College in 1996, his M.S. in biology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2000 and his Ph.D. in biochemistry from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Carbondale in 2006.

Ms. Glaus has worked as a registered nurse at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis and at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Illinois. She graduated from Missouri Baptist Medical Center School of Nursing in St. Louis in 1999.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 172 home sales in Crestwood during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $156,750.
