Joshua N. Worthington and Meghan S. Largent bought a three-bedroom, 1.5-bath home at 17 Fleetwood Drive in Ladue from Joseph L. Sooter for $287,000 on Jan. 26.

The 1,224-square-foot house in Ladue Woods subdivision was built in 1938.

Worthington is an attorney in Foley & Mansfield's St. Louis office specializing in toxic tort and mass tort litigation. Before joining Foley & Mansfield, he was a litigation attorney in a civil defense law firm in Clayton and Missouri state's assistant attorney general.

He graduated with a major in English from the University of Kansas in 2000 and received his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2003.

Ms. Largent is an associate in the law firm of Lathrop & Gage L.C. Prior to that, she served as law clerk to Justice Sue Myerscough and as legal intern at the Federal Communications Commission in Washington, D.C.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism and her J.D. from the Washington University School of Law.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 111 home sales in Ladue during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $667,500.
